(For heavily soiled wool, I usualy wash the wool with a dish soap like Dawn first, in hot water the second time in a Fibermaster soak to help get out the stains,  let it soak at least an hour then after I rinse it I put it in mesh bags, fill my washer with very warm water soak and spin only, Do not agetate.)
